Norwood Man Facing Charges After DWI Crash

Norwood, MO. – A Norwood man is facing multiple criminal charges after driving while intoxicated and causing a crash with an ATV.

The driver in this report is listed as Matthew Bowers, a 47-year-old Norwood resident. This crash took place at 9:05pm on Monday, September 9th on Sparks Road in Norwood.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says that vehicle 1, a Can-Am Outlander ATV crossed the center of the road, left the road, struck a fence, and overturned, ejected the driver and 38-year-old Stephanie Fuller of Springfield.

Both were moderately injured and neither were wearing a safety device.

Bowers is looking at a Felony DWI due to the injuries sustained in the accident, as well as a charge of Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway Resulting in a Crash, and Operating an ATV without a Mounted Triangular Emblem.
