Gainesville, MO. – The Gainesville Healthcare Center got visitors of a different sort when Cowboy Rick, Arkansas Bev, and the crew of the Journey Stagecoach stopped by. The residents of GHC got the chance to look up-close at the stagecoach, equipment, and the horses, even getting to sit inside, and giving them insight to the equipment of western times.
This visit is in part due to the fact that Rick, Bev, and the rest of the crew are planning their annual trail ride, where they deliver mail from one location to another using their authentic stagecoach. The ride this year will take place from May 22nd to May 27th, and will ride through an Ozark County Trail and ending in Gainesville.
The Journey Stagecoach hand-delivers mail from dozens of children from across the US, and has complete trips through not only Missouri, but also Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, California, Nevada and Arkansas.
