It appears that the end of March will be crowned with the potential for more severe weather, according to a recent report from the National Weather Service in Springfield.
This weekend has thunderstorm chances on both Saturday and Sunday for a large swathe of the Ozarks. However for our listening area, the greatest time of interest lies on Sunday around noontime; with the highest chances of severe weather.
As of current, most of our coverage area stands at a 3/5 “enhanced risk” for strong storms at that time. The timing could change between now and then however, as the arrival of a cold front could affect just when this weather arrives.
