October Proclaimed “Pork Month” by Governor Mike Parson

Jefferson City, MO. – Last week, Governor Mike Parson proclaimed that October is Pork Month for the state of Missouri.

This proclamation was made after Missouri achieved the ranking as 7th in the nation for overall pork production, reporting 3.35 million head of pork and producing more than 6% of the US total.
