Licking, MO. – The South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri has announced the death of an offender.
At 6:54 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, offender Wayne Johnston was pronounced dead at the facility.

Johnston was a 58-year-old offender serving multiple life sentences for 10 counts of sodomy from Jackson County. Johnston was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on April 7, 1997.
An autopsy will be conducted.
