Old Time Music, Ozark Heritage Festival Announced to Expand to Over Double in Size

West Plains, MO. – The Old Time Music, Ozark Heritage Festival has recently been announced for the dates of June 2nd and June 3rd, and this year’s event appears to have several upcoming changes. More information will be revealed as we get closer to event dates.

One of the biggest changes for this year will address size itself: event organizers have stated that due to grant funding they’ve received $10,000 to add to the cost of putting on the festival. This means that with the addition of this funding, the festival will increase in size to at least double.

“We’re able to enlarge the footprint of the festival by at least double..” said Kathleen Morrisey, an event organizer. She went on to state that “It starts at the Civic Center, it will go down Trish Knight, (and) it ends at Garfield. We will also be closing Washington Avenue from Dixon to Broadway.”

With the increased size of the festival, many other organizations will get their chance to bring their own energy to this yearly event.
