Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) will host a Topping Out Ceremony on Jan. 30, 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the placement of the final beam in the construction of the future OMC Women’s Center.
The women’s center is part of the OMC Expansion currently under construction at the West Plains campus. The 20,000 square foot facility will house modern labor and delivery rooms, gynecological surgery facilities and educational spaces.

As part of a historical tradition, community members are invited to sign the beam located in the North Entrance beside the Emergency Department until Wednesday, Jan. 29. The public is welcome to attend the event to watch a crane lift the final beam into place.
