One Adult, 7 Juveniles Injured in Marshfield Crash

Marshfield, MO. – Seven juveniles and one adult have been injured in a crash near Marshfield on Friday night, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

This crash took place at around 10pm on Missouri Highway 38, less than a mile from Marshfield city limits. The two vehicles involved were a Ford Ranger, driven by a 16-year-old girl, and a Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Nichole Buckner, 38 of Marshfield.

According to the report, the westbound Ranger turned into the path of the eastbound Chrysler, causing extensive damage to both vehicles.

Nichole Buckner was seriously injured, and 3 juveniles, 16, 14, and 5, were also injured, with injuries ranging from minor to serious.

In the Ranger, the unbuckled driver was seriously injured, and an additional 3 juveniles were injured, with injuries ranging again between minor to serious.

All but the driver of the Ranger were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, with the lone discrepancy being the driver who was taken to Cox South for treatment.

This accident was investigated by Troop D’s Troop A.M. James of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
