A Republic man suffered minor injuries Wednesday in a two‑vehicle crash at the intersection of Missouri 17 and Missouri 142 in Lanton. The Highway Patrol reports a westbound 2014 Ram 1500, driven by a 41‑year‑old man from Koshkonong, failed to yield to a northbound 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, causing a collision in the intersection just after noon.
The Jeep’s driver, a 22‑year‑old man from Republic, was transported by private vehicle to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. The Koshkonong man was not injured according to the report.
