Grovespring, MO. – A two-vehicle accident occurred on Friday morning around 8am, and an occupant was injured as a result.
The scene of the accident was Highway H, five miles East of Grovespring, and all individuals in this accident are residents of the area. A 2015 Ford F250 was being driven by Leonard Rhett, 78, who became stuck in the roadway while trying to travel Westbound.
It was then that a second vehicle, an Eastbound Chevy 2500 driven by 23-year-old Luke Dalton, struck the Ford in the side, creating extensive damage for both vehicles.
One passenger of the Chevy suffered moderate injuries, Cierra Burt, 23. She was transported after the accident to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon for treatment.
This accident was investigated by Corporal S.J. Crewse of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
