One teen injured in crash near Ellington on Tuesday

West Plains, MO. – A teen was injured in a one-vehicle crash on Tuesday near Ellington. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred at 3 p.m. on Route B, seven miles west of Ellington on September 19, 2023.

A northbound Toyota Tundra driven by a 17-year-old male ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and overturned. The driver had been wearing his seat belt and was uninjured in the crash. His passenger, another 17-year-old male, hadn’t been wearing a seatbelt and suffered moderate injuries. The occupant was taken by private vehicle to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
