WEST PLAINS, Mo. — Several ordinance changes are on the agenda of the upcoming West Plains City Council meeting on Monday.
West Plains Police Chief Stephen Monticelli told Ozark Radio News that the changes to the city’s domestic assault, harassment, and driving violation ordinances are to bring the city ordinances in line with state laws:
He added that the changes to texting while driving are extremely important from a public safety standpoint:
Other items on the agenda include an ordinance approving the adoption of amended budgets for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2019 and ending March 31, 2020.
The meeting will be held at 5:30 pm Monday, November 18 at West Plains City Hall. The public is welcome to attend.
