Oregon County Crash Leads to Serious Injury of Thayer Resident

Couch, MO. – A man from Thayer has become seriously injured as a result of a one-vehicle crash.

Last night, at roughly 10:38 PM, a Northbound 2003 Buick Lasabre was traveling on highway E, 3 miles south of Couch, when it crashed.

The crash occurred when the driver, Asa Garrison, 31 of Thayer, MO, traveled off the right side of the roadway, became airborne, struck a sign, and overturned.

Garrison was transported via ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment of his serious injuries. He was not wearing his safety device.

This accident was investigated by Trooper L.C. Pruiett of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
