An Oregon County man is facing multiple felony charges after deputies say he fired several shots during a dispute over dogs on Friday. According to a probable cause statement, Sgt. Michael Bunting responded after a caller reported that neighbor Sean Keith Runyan fired six to seven shots from his residence, then walked toward the property and fired additional rounds while yelling that the caller was too close to his house.
Runyan later led deputies to a loaded Winchester rifle lying beside his vehicle. He was taken into custody and booked. Deputies noted Runyan’s prior felony convictions, including stealing, burglary, involuntary manslaughter, unlawful use of a weapon, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Runyan is charged with armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon his bond was set at $2500.
