Alton, MO. – A local not-for-profit named My Brother’s 6 has donated a piece of equipment to the Oregon County Sheriff’s Office in the form of what is called a “rifle-grade” ballistic shield.
According to the My Brother’s 6 Facebook page, this shield has been purchased from a company called RTS for the price of around $800. This shield is reported to be able to withstand fire from 5.56 and 7.62 caliber rifles.

Other agencies supplied by this Not-For-Profit include Douglas County, Ozark County, Ava PD and Mountain Grove PD. My Brother’s 6 is still currently accepting donations for assembling further packages for local law enforcement.
