Cabool, Mo. – On Wednesday, May 22, a female from Auburnton, Tennessee was seriously injured in a crash with a semi-trailer.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident took place 2 miles west of Cabool on US 60 around 2:00 pm. 20-year-old Erilynn Denninger was traveling west when the semi-truck in front of her attempted to make a left turn. She was unable to stop and overtook the Peterbilt tractor-trailer, striking it in the rear, and totaling her vehicle. The semi-truck was driven from the scene but its trailer was damaged and towed.
Denninger received serious injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield via ambulance for treatment.
Trooper D. L. Dedmon of Troop G was the investigating officer of the crash.
