West Plains, MO. – Local West Plains arts organization, Ozark Artery is taking entries for their upcoming show, which is titled “Conversation Starters Art and Sensory Experience”.
Organizers have stated that this art show is a part of a collaborative program that merges art with group therapy. This program was put together by Ozark Artery, the Yellow House, Heart of the Ozarks United Way and local therapists. Those organizations will be providing free art-and-group therapy workshops that promote social connection and starting conversations.
Cash prizes will be awarded for this contest, including $300 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place.
Artists who would like to join can be from any age and use most any medium, with three proposed artworks being submitted to OzarkArteryInfo@gmail.com between June 24th through the 28th. There is no cost for entry.
