Ozark County Jail Signs Agreement with ICE to House Detainees

The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office has officially entered into an agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to house illegal immigrant detainees at the county jail. Sheriff Cass Martin confirmed that discussions with ICE began in February, leading to the finalization of the contract in March.

Sheriff Martin says there are currently no illegal immigrant detainees being housed at the Ozark County Jail.
