Ozark County, MO. – The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office issued an announcement earlier this month about the arrest of a man who was previously arrested in April of last year.
William Huelsenbeck is the Ozark County resident who found himself arrested just under a year ago in April for failure to appear with his original charge of Possession of Methamphetamine. Huelsenbeck gave law enforcement a chase in a vehicle, on foot, and through investigation before he was apprehended.
This year, on March 27th, Huelsenbeck was released from jail with a GPS ankle monitor, which he cut off the very same day, spurring his arrest on April 2nd in Tecumseh.
The humor of this event was not lost on the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, as they stated: “While we like remembering anniversaries, this is not the type to find yourself celebrating annually, but we’re here for it either way.”
