Ozark County Sheriff Makes Good On Efforts For Rehiring Following Election

Gainesville, MO. – Last week, the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office had their Law Enforcement Sales Tax question pass with strong support. The Sheriff’s Office previously stated in an interview that the first step for the new funds, if passed, would be to rebuild their workforce, and hopefully improve upon it.

On Saturday, the Sheriff’s Office posted a job for a new Correctional Officer, or Jailer, whose job it would be to handle inmates, jail procedures, paperwork, and more. With this, it appears they’re making good on their declarations.
