Ozark County, MO. – Yesterday’s storms whipped through the Ozarks and caused a lot of damage via winds, hail, and more, and while the whole area felt some impact from the storm, Ozark County appears to have reported some of the most.
Roughly 3000 Ozark County residents found themselves without power yesterday as powerlines were snapped by winds, limbs, and full trees. Reports state this had an effect on around 60% of the people who operate on electricity from the White River Valley Coop.
In addition, the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office put out a list of reported damages that would impact power and driving. Affected towns on that report include Theodosia, Pontiac, Timber Knob, and Bakersfield. They also state they were trying to confirm the possibility of a report of a mobile home being flipped near Highway HH.
If you find your home without power, make sure to report it to your local provider of electricity as soon as possible so they can factor you into their repairs.
