Ozark Marketing Holds Meeting on Highway Safety with Community Leaders

West Plains, MO. – As a result of the high rate of crashes on 63 in recent days, especially between Thayer and West Plains, Ozark Marketing recently held a meeting between several organizations expressly for the purpose of initiating conversation on solutions towards better safety along our roadways.

In attendance were officials from the City of West Plains, MoDOT, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, and even Representative David Evans.

Discussed during the meeting were the statistics of crashes in key locations of Troop G’s patrol area, leading causes for crashes, funding for infrastructure, and more.

Operations Manager of Ozark Marketing, Matt Stumpff, has stated that this is part of an ongoing project to address overall highway safety.
