The Ozark Mountain Conference is proud to debut its inaugural Annual Art Exhibit and Competition, a new event celebrating the creativity and talent of high school artists from across the region. This exciting showcase features student artwork from seven participating schools, with selected pieces on display at the Ozark Tech Fine Arts Building, located at 1001 North National Ave., Springfield, MO.
This marks the first time these schools — Carl Junction, Bolivar, Branson, Hillcrest, Logan-Rogersville, Marshfield, and West Plains — will compete in an official conference-level art competition. Each school has submitted up to 30 outstanding works of student art, representing a range of 2D and 3D categories.
The exhibition is being judged by a panel of esteemed local art professionals, with awards to be presented during a closing reception on April 18 at 5:30 p.m. The reception will also feature refreshments and a live jazz performance by the Ozarks Tech Jazz Combo, providing an upbeat and celebratory atmosphere for student artists and their guests.
“This event is an incredible opportunity to spotlight the imagination and hard work of our students,” organizers said. “It also fosters a sense of connection and healthy competition among schools in the conference.”
