WEST PLAINS, MISSOURI: Inspired by Chapter Regent Rebecca M Kinney’s choice to support the West Plains based Honor Guard as a Chapter Regent’s project, members of the Ozark Spring Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) pooled monies together and collected $400 to be donated to the local Honor Guard. Regent Rebecca McKinney presented a check for $400 to three of the Honor Guard members at the chapter’s monthly meeting on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Ozark Spring has long been a supporter of the Honor Guard by providing financial support when a new van was purchased in the late 2000s, updating uniforms and purchasing rain gear, as well as having funds for gas and meals when the Guard supports local military funerals and ceremonies. The chapter is proud of the service relationship that is held with the Guard and enjoys providing support when they can.
