Ozarks Electric Provider Provides Grants for Local Projects

White River Valley Electric Cooperative, a provider of energy to our local area of the Ozarks, has released information on their “Plugged In” program grant, and recipients of it for the 2024-2025 year.

A pair of grants have been designated towards Douglas and Ozark County. The former will be going toward the Ava Volunteer Fire Department, their project being a patio area that will be used for teamwork building and other activities. The latter will go toward the Ozark County Chamber of Commerce, who intend to install new “Welcome to Gainesville” signs around the Gainesville City Limits.
