West Plains, MO. – Ozarks Healthcare just announced the addition of 7 new registered nurses to the healthcare team. All these nurses recently graduated from their Nurse Residency Program.
These seven individuals underwent an intensive eight-week training program that was designed to provide them with the essential skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to excel in their nursing careers. During the program, nurse residents were rotated through 28 to 30 different areas within the health system. The hands-on experience was meant to prepare these nurses to deliver good patient care.
These Nurses have accepted positions in Ozarks Healthcare’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical Department, Ozarks Healthcare Hospice, and At Home. The Nurse Residency Program at Ozarks Healthcare begins in January and June every year.
