The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation recently helped provide greater safety, comfort, and peace of mind for a local family by gifting a specialized Safety Sleeper® bed to twins Maximus and Collyn Ehrhart.
The brothers, whose family has faced challenges related to developmental needs, will benefit from the secure, enclosed bed designed to support children who may have difficulty remaining safely in a traditional bed. The Safety Sleeper helps create a safer sleep environment while providing reassurance for caregivers.
Parents Alyssa and Nathan Ehrhart expressed their gratitude for the gift and the positive impact it will have on their family’s daily life. Members of the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation Board and Ozarks Healthcare team were honored to present the bed to the Ehrhart family and celebrate this meaningful moment with them.
“Supporting local families through unique needs like this is one of the most rewarding parts of our mission,” Josh Reeves, Vice President of Development and Advocacy at Ozarks Healthcare, said. “Because of the generosity of our donors, we’re able to provide resources that make a real difference in the lives of children and families throughout our region.”
The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation works to enhance patient care and improve quality of life by funding programs, equipment, and special patient needs that may not otherwise be covered. Gifts from donors help ensure local patients have access to the support they need close to home.
