Rescue Church, 1010 6th Street in West Plains, will reopen as a warming center tonight. The outreach ministry tells Ozark Radio News that while they had been unable to open yesterday, due to their sanctuary having no heat, they were recently helped by Ozarks Healthcare to fix the issue.
While doors will be open at Rescue Church from 5pm to 9pm, they do ask anyone needing access to the warming shelter to please check in first at Martha Vance Samaritan Outreach Center, 715 Missouri Avenue. Samaritan Outreach will also be open as a warming center tonight.
Rescue Church wishes to express their appreciation to Ozarks Healthcare for helping them repair the heat source in the sanctuary, allowing them to reopen the warming center tonight to those in need.
