West Plains, MO. – Ozarks Healthcare will be bringing back their M*A*S*H camp this summer. The Medical Academy of Science and Health camp was created for students in the area interested in healthcare careers, to have hands-on experience and learning experience from seasoned professionals.
The healthcare careers they will learn about during camp include orthopedic surgery, radiology, emergency medicine, primary care, nursing, and more. The Ozarks Healthcare professionals will provide insights into their fields, covering educational requirements, salary ranges, and the reality of practicing medicine.
This program is open to all students entering grades 7 -12 in the fall of 2024. There is a two-day session for all students in the 9-12 grades on July 9 and 10 and a one-day session for 7th and 8th graders on July 11. All students will be provided with all camp materials, as well as, snacks and lunches.
