West Plains, MO. – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Ozarks Healthcare has, of course, several plans in place to coincide with this month-long awareness event.
During the month of October, they will be having their mum sale, where proceeds will go to help fund the Mobile Mammography Unit and its equipment.
In related big news, Ozarks Healthcare has officially purchased their Mobile Mammography Unit. October has marked the anniversary of their campaign, and it’s only fitting that their purchase coincides with not only the anniversary, but Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“The community support has been great…” stated Josh Reeves, the Vice President of Development at Ozarks Healthcare, regarding all the well-wishes and donations that community members and organizations have put forth. He goes on to state that the unit will need to be updated with current equipment still yet, but they expect it to be ready to go in early 2023.
