Ozarks Healthcare to host Walk-In Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics at Koshkonong and Alton School Districts on Aug. 11

WEST PLAINS, MO – Ozarks Healthcare will host two COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the Koshkonong and Alton School Districts. The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine will be available to those 12 and older on a walk-in basis at both vaccine clinics. Ozarks Healthcare will host one clinic at the Koshkonong School District’s Library Media Center from 8 to 11 a.m. and a second clinic at the Alton School District’s Elementary Multi-purpose Building from noon to 3 p.m.

“We hope this will be a convenient opportunity for those in our community who are unvaccinated, especially students and their families, to get vaccinated before school starts,” Katie Mahan, Director of Ozarks Healthcare’s Pharmacy, said. “We are concerned about the spread of the Delta variant intensifying as schools begin a new academic year, but if more of our community gets vaccinated, we believe the impact of the variant will be much less.”
