Ozarks Healthcare update: COVID patients are decreasing in number

West Plains, MO – The number of COVID-19 patients at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains have decreased this week. As of August 26, 2021, the hospital had 18 patients diagnosed with COVID-19, 6 of those patients are on ventilators. This is a decrease of 10 patients from August 19. The total number of COVID-19 beds in OZH is 39. While the decrease in patients is a good trend, Ozarks Healthcare wishes to remind residents of South Central Missouri and Northern Arkansas that we are not out of the woods yet.
