West Plains, MO. – For those who are interested in starting their own business or want to learn more about business accounting, the Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) will be holding workshops tackling those topics in January 2024.
The first workshop is for hopeful entrepreneurs, titled “Smart Start: Developing a Successful Business” and will be held on January 18, 2024, beginning at 2 p.m. This is a free workshop but, registration is required. With Smart Start, you will learn the first steps to starting your own business and how to pave the way to success. The workshop outlines how to create a business plan and how to get a handle of the finances from the start.
The second workshop is to introduce entrepreneurs to the ins and outs of QuickBooks Online, Intuit’s cloud accounting software. This workshop costs $135 for OzSBI members and $155 for non-members. Registration is required for the class and the class has a maximum capacity of 15 individuals. This hands-on training will show you how to utilize the software, document and track the accounting activity of your business, and how to generate reports to make informed decisions for your business. All workshop attendees will receive a QuickBooks Online Handbook to take home.
