OzSBI to hold Supervision Boot Camp in September and October

West Plains, MO – The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) will be holding a Supervision Boot Camp in September and October. The Boot Camp is aimed primarily at supervisors, group leaders, and lead persons who have little formal training in effectively leading the work of others. Experienced supervisors will find the Boot Camp helpful in updating leadership skills and practice.

Those completing the Boot Camp will develop skills in the following competency areas key to successful supervision and leadership of others:

  • Effective communication Concepts
  • Understanding the New Emerging Workforce
  • Relationship building
  • Leadership & Coaching
  • Understanding the Impact of Change
  • Performance Management
  • Managing Conflict
  • Ethical Issues in the Workplace
  • The Effect of Micromanagement on the Workplace

The Camp will be held on September 17 & 24, and October 1 & 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $800, $750 for OzSBI members. Lunch is included each day. Visit www.ozsbi.com/events for program details and registration.
