Small business owners and entrepreneurs interested in exploring grant funding opportunities are invited to attend How to Find & Apply for Small Business Grants on Tuesday, September 22, from 12:00–1:30 p.m.
The virtual workshop is hosted by the Show-Me Network and can be viewed online from anywhere or in person at the Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) in West Plains. Those attending at OzSBI will also have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with OzSBI’s mentoring team following the webinar.
Grants can be a valuable source of funding for small businesses but finding the right opportunities and knowing where to start can be challenging. This practical workshop will provide entrepreneurs with strategies and resources to help them more effectively locate, evaluate and pursue grant opportunities.
Participants will learn how to use targeted keywords to search for grants, identify local, regional and national funding opportunities, and utilize curated grant websites and email lists to stay informed. The workshop will also cover how to review eligibility requirements, research potential funders and determine which grant opportunities are worth pursuing.

Advance registration is required for those participating online. Those attending the group viewing at OzSBI are also encouraged to register before the workshop, although walk-ins will be welcome.
