OzSBI to host Smart Start, Recovery Workplace, & Quickbooks classes in 2022

West Plains, MO – The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) hosts many classes for small business owners throughout the year and 2022 will be off to a great start with classes and workshops beginning January 6.

Smart Start: Developing a Successful Business will be a free 2-and-a-half hour workshop that will go over all the steps to start a small business. From making a business plan to understanding payroll, entrepreneurs will be able to learn about what it takes to have a great business. This class will be held January 6 and on February 2 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

OzSBI will partner with the MU Extension for a workshop on how to have a Recovery-Friendly Workplace. The MU Extention will bring in multiple facilitators to help business owners become great employers who want to support existing and future employees who deal with substance abuse issues. This free workshop will be held on January 31 from 1:30-2:30 p.m.

OzSBI will be hosting a hands-on QuickBooks Online – The Basics training in February of 2022 to help you become more proficient with this software. The workshop will be facilitated by Sandra Smart, a technology and commercialization specialist with the Missouri Small Business Development Center at Missouri State University. Every attendee will receive an hour of one-on-one QuickBooks mentoring after the class with QuickBooks Pro Advisor Ila Sloan with the Ozarks Small Business Incubator. This workshop will be from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. on Tuesday, February, 22, 2022. The fee for this workshop is $129 general admission or $99 for OzSBI Members.
