West Plains, MO. – Motorists should anticipate impacts to Business 63 in West Plains as contractor crews perform signal updates. This project is part of the Missouri Department of Transportation’s initiative to bring roadway facilities into compliance with the current standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The following intersections will be improved: Business 63 at Porter Wagoner Boulevard, Business 63 at Missouri Avenue, and Business 63 at Washington Avenue.
Work will continue this week (June 5-9) with intermittent lane reductions from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
Beginning June 12, intermittent full closures will be necessary as work continues. There will be intermittent full closures Monday, June 12 through Friday, June 23 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. including weekends as necessary.
The work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
