West Plains, MO – A Birch Tree man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday night near Alton. The accident occurred at 8 p.m. October 27, 2021 on Highway 160, two miles west of Alton.
A 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by James Thompson, 61 of Birch Tree, was westbound when it struck pedestrian Jacob Stark, 33 of Birch Tree. Thompson was not injured in the crash. Stark was taken to Ozarks Healthcare by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.

This accident was investigated by Corporal J. C. Howell with the assistance of Trooper C. Kimes of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G.
