Pilkington Case Moved to Butler County

West Plains, MO. – The case of a former local law enforcement officer being accused of sexual assaulting a minor has been moved to Butler County. Rob Pilkington of Pomona is facing 13 felony charges in connection with the sexual assault of a child under the age of 14 in 2021.

Pilkington was in court in Howell County on Monday, October 3 before Judge Robert David Ray. The attorney for Pilkington asked the court for a change of venue to Butler County, to the objection of State Prosecutors. Over the objection, Judge Ray ordered the case to be moved. Both attorneys for the accused and the State asked for Judge Ray to remain assigned to the case.
