Mountain View, MO. – The City of Mountain View have announced recently that a portion of Elm Street in their downtown area has been closed as a result of safety concerns. The announcement is posted below, unedited.
“The Board of Aldermen (City Council), on advice of our Insurance Risk Manager and Fire & Police Departments, closed a portion of Elm St. for the safety of our citizens.
The unsafe conditions which made this closure necessary are the liability and responsibility of the owner of the building at the corner of First St. and Elm St., not the City.”
