Potential For Severe Weather For The Ozarks Today Through Wednesday

The National Weather Service is calling for severe weather in the Ozarks from today until this Wednesday night. 

According to their information packet, there is a chance of a few isolated strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon into the early evening. The primary risks are hail up to the size of quarters and damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph.

On Tuesday the National Weather Service is expecting thunderstorms to move through the area in the afternoon and late evening with the chance of hail the size of golfballs, brief spin-up tornadoes, and wind speeds from 60 mph to 70 mph. Wednesday is expected to have severe thunderstorms capable of producing large hail and damaging wind gusts. 

There are also flooding concerns for later this week, and there is a chance for thunderstorms every day after Wednesday.
