Power line Down on P Highway West of Alton

UPDATE: 12:14 P.M. 10-26-2022 – Power has been restored to the area. The cause of the downed line was a car crashed into a power pole on Highway P. HOEC crews are working on replacing the pole.

West Plains, MO. – A power line was reported down on the roadway on Highway P, five miles west of Alton on Wednesday morning. Sources contacted Ozark Radio News about the power line at 11:30 a.m. Currently, traffic is being turned around for safety reasons. Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative (HOEC) have been contacted and have crews on their way to repair the line.
