Power outage in West Plains Saturday morning

West Plains, MO. – Many residents in the city of West Plains woke up without power Saturday morning. At 7:29 a.m. on the morning of November 20, an explosion was reported to emergency dispatchers in the City of West Plains at the Lincoln Avenue power sub-station. The West Plains Fire Department, West Plains Electric Department, and West Plains Police Department responded to the call. 

As of 9:50 a.m., residents will start seeing power restored over the next few hours according to Public Relations Coordinator Cody Sanders informed Ozark Radio News.
