At 12:46 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, resident Eria Doss, DOC No. 1221635, confined at South Central Correctional Center in Licking, was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital in
Springfield, Missouri.
Doss was a 33-year-old resident serving a 79-year sentence for four counts of second-degree murder, three counts of first-degree robbery, six counts of armed criminal action, all from Jackson County, and delivery or possession of weapon at correctional center from Texas County. Doss was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on
May 17, 2011. An autopsy will be conducted.
