Area agencies are coming together to help those in the community that are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Project Homeless Connect will be held at the West Plains Civic Center on Thursday, January 30 from 10am to 1pm.
Community volunteers are partnering with city government, local non-profits, churches and private sector entities to provide health and human services for homeless individuals and families to access in one location at one time.
Services that will be offered include medical, mental health, substance abuse, housing, dental, benefits, legal, vision care, photo identification assistance, food, clothing, wheelchair repair, haircuts, and much more.
