Expected Rainfall Values Lessen; Flood Watch Still in Effect Until 7pm

The National Weather Service has released their latest information packet regarding the high levels of rainfall present within the Ozarks today. Highlight changes to this include that the flood watch remains in effect until 7pm, and that overall rainfall expectations have been reduced.

For the overall listening area, additional rainfall expected today is varied. For areas around West Plains, 1.5 to 3 inches of rain is called for. The Ava area is projected to only receive 1 to 1.5 inches. Areas of Oregon County, such as Thayer and Alton, may receive 3 to 4 inches of rain today.
