The latest report comes to us from Izard County, AR, from the office of the County Sheriff. The date of this release was yesterday, January 17th, and was issued from the Sheriff’s Facebook page. The statement reads as follows:
“The Izard County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating several counterfeit bills being passed at local businesses. This is a reminder for businesses and barterers to be observant of the bills being received and if you encounter a counterfeit bill, please retain the bill and contact the Sheriff’s office. If you have passed a counterfeit bill unknowingly, please contact the Sheriff’s office so that we can follow up on this information.
