Zizzer Pride Academy students along with several JAG students had the opportunity on Friday to visit with Mr. Denny and Mrs. Betty Wallin of Memphis, Tennessee.
The students heard from the Wallin’s as they shared experiences of being in New York City on 9/11/2001. Mr. Wallin is a retired police officer with the NYPD as well as a Desert Storm Veteran. Mrs. Wallin is a retired registered nurse. Mr. and Mrs. Wallin shared their pride of living in New York City and the heartache of what happened on 9/11.

Google Meet has opened new opportunities in Mrs. Dietrich’s classroom to invite virtual guest speakers from around the world. The students look forward to visiting with these guest speakers each week.
