Mountain Home, AR. – The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a qualification shoot for retired officers next month, giving ex-law enforcement officers a chance to stay registered to carry.
This will be taking place at the Sheriff’s Office Firing Range, found at the former Baxter County Quarry, County Road 69 near Highway 5 South. The cost for this qualification test is $10 per person.

Any retired officers may participate, but they must provide their own firearm and ammunition. In addition, a written application and a waiver will need to be filled out.
