Richards Brothers, a longtime West Plains business, has announced it is closing after 94 years of serving the community. The store’s final day of regular operation was Wednesday, October 7. In a statement, the Richards family thanked generations of customers, noting that many have become friends, neighbors, and part of the Richards Brothers family.
The store will remain closed Thursday through Saturday as staff prepare inventory for an upcoming clearance sale, which will feature discounted merchandise. Additional details, sale prices, and featured items will be shared on the store’s Facebook page in the coming days.
The family said the building holds nearly a century of memories and expressed gratitude to the community for its support throughout those 94 years.
